Vietnamese coffee simply means coffee grown in Vietnam — the world's second-largest coffee-producing country, and the largest grower of Robusta by a wide margin. It's also become shorthand for a style of drinking coffee: strong, often brewed through a phin filter, and served with sweetened condensed milk. At Highest Good, we care about both sides of that — the bean and the ritual — and we want Australians to discover the full range of what Vietnamese coffee can be, not just one iconic drink.
They're two different coffee species. Robusta has roughly double the caffeine of Arabica, along with less natural sugar and fat — which gives it a bolder, more robust flavour and a heavier body. Arabica has less caffeine but more sugar and fat, making it typically smoother, sweeter, and more delicate. Our blends mix the two in different ratios depending on the character we're going for.
Our beans are sourced from Vietnam's Central Highlands, where volcanic soil and elevation create ideal growing conditions for both Robusta and Arabica.
We import green beans from Vietnam and roast them here in Australia in small batches, so what reaches you is as close to the roast date as possible.
Store it in an airtight container, away from direct sunlight and moisture. That keeps the flavour and aroma intact for longer.

Orders & Shipping
Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days of ordering, then typically arrive within 2–10 business days depending on your location. Full details are on our Shipping page.
Yes — you'll receive a tracking code by email as soon as your order is dispatched.
Currently we only deliver within Australia. If you're based overseas and keen to try Highest Good, get in touch at hello@highestgood.com.au.
Free standard shipping on orders over $50, with a flat $10 rate below that.
Email us as soon as possible at hello@highestgood.com.au with your order number and the changes you need. If your order hasn't been dispatched yet, we'll do our best to update it.
Returns and Refunds
Because coffee is a perishable product, we're unable to offer refunds or exchanges on roasted beans once an order has shipped. For non-perishable items (merchandise, brewing equipment), our standard return window is 30 days from delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging.
